We are excited to implement new electric vehicle charging stations at our DTLA lots as we continue to push our Joe’s Goes Green eco-friendly initiatives.
Joe’s Auto Parks is teaming up with Tellus Power to launch their state-of-the-art electric vehicle charging stations in the nation’s top EV market. The new sleek and durable networked EV charging stations are to be installed at Joe’s parking structures in over 90 locations throughout downtown LA, helping to accelerate the deployment of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure for visitors, local retailers, businesses and residents.
Joe’s parking patrons will soon be able to utilize Tellus’ fast and easy-to-use charging stations 24/7. Unlike similar models, Tellus’ EV charging stations can charge two vehicles at the same time with no power sharing between vehicles.
The Dual Port Level 2 chargers deliver a full 7.2 kW charge to both vehicles simultaneously, reducing charging time by 50 percent. In addition to being efficient, the charging stations are extremely user-friendly. The Tellus network features quick, first-time driver activation – drivers only have to type in their cell number, receive a text message and are able to begin charging.
